CemFa Group
Since its humble beginnings in 1966 as Altin Optik, an optical and eyewear store founded by Sirac Altindag, CemFa Group has grown to become the leading provider of prescription optical and sunglass lenses, premium eyewear from top global brands, and optical lab equipment in Turkiye.
Founded in 1987, CemFa Optik produces Starlens and OptoVision lenses at their own facility in Gebze, Turkiye, as well as import and distribute Rodenstock lenses on a wholesale basis. CemFa Optik also provides optical stores in the country with Briot and Weco lens edging & finishing systems, video centration devices and lensmeters from Visionix (formerly Luneo Technology / Optovue).
CemFa Gözlük is the exclusive distributor of renowned international brands including Lindberg, Masunaga, Morel, Menrad (featuring Bogner, Jaguar, Joop!, and Morgan Eyewear), and Marcolin (featuring Adidas Eyewear and Gant Eyewear). Established in 2013, CemFa Gözlük specializes in the eyewear segment to better serve the needs of their customers and global partners. We bring the latest selections of eyeglasses and sunglasses to the Turkish market.
Our Legacy
In 1966, Sirac Altindag made a significant mark in Diyarbakır by opening the city’s first optical store. Building on this success, he and his wife expanded their venture to İstanbul by inaugurating a second eyewear shop on Bahariye Street, Kadikoy in 1983. Sirac harbored a deep passion for his profession, and his greatest dream was for his children to share this love for the optical industry.
To nurture this passion, Sirac took his children Diler, Fatih and Cem to optical fairs abroad, exposing them to the latest advancements and trends in the eyewear field. Through these experiences, he aimed to ignite their interest and commitment to the profession. His dedication and efforts paid off as his children embraced the world of eyewear with enthusiasm.
Out of this shared passion and family commitment, CemFa Optik was born in 1987. This new venture symbolized the culmination of Sirac Altindag’s dreams and the beginning of a legacy that would continue to thrive and evolve with the same dedication and love for the optical industry.
In 2013, in response to increased demand and a desire to better serve both partners and customers, CemFa Gözlük was established. This new venture specializes in representing top global eyewear brands, focusing on eyeglasses, eyeglass frames, and sunglasses. By diversifying their offerings, CemFa Gözlük aims to provide a wider range of high-quality eyewear products to meet the varied needs of their clientele. Meanwhile, CemFa Optik remains dedicated to the production of prescription eyeglass and sunglass lenses, as well as the import and distribution of optical lab equipment.
